SaaS & App Development
You bring the idea, the process or a finished brief. We turn it into a product: web dashboard, app in the stores, recurring subscriptions and artificial intelligence, with the code in your name.
SaaS & App Development is the service where KING turns an idea, a process or a brief into a live digital product: web, iOS and Android, with recurring subscriptions, artificial intelligence and source code owned by the client. We work with companies in Brazil and abroad from our base in Marília, Brazil, with the experience of the team that built DashKING, the AI-powered CRM that was born inside KING.
What's included
- Product discovery and validation: scope, personas, feature map and a clickable prototype so you see the product on screen before a line of code is written
- UX/UI design for every screen, applying your brand identity, from the sign-up flow to the main dashboard
- Backend, API and database development, with an admin panel to manage users, data and content
- A responsive web app and/or a mobile app for iOS and Android, depending on what the product really needs
- Login, access levels and recurring subscription billing integrated with a payment gateway (card, plus Pix and boleto in Brazil)
- Integrations with whatever the product needs to talk to: WhatsApp, email, ERPs, payment gateways and third-party APIs
- Cloud infrastructure configured, deployment, domain and SSL, plus publishing to the App Store and Google Play
- Source code delivered, technical documentation and post-launch support with ongoing improvements in sprints
Why invest in this service
Built around your process, not the other way around
Off-the-shelf software forces your company to bend to it. Here it's the reverse: we build exactly the workflow your operation already has, with no useless features and no workarounds to force a tool to do what it can't.
Live fast, validating before you spend it all
Instead of disappearing for a year chasing the dream product, you see a clickable prototype in a few weeks and a first working version in the hands of real users within a few months. You learn from real usage and invest the rest of the budget in what the market has confirmed.
Architecture that handles growth
We build in the cloud, on infrastructure that serves ten or ten thousand users without slowing down and without a full rewrite later. You pay for what you use today and scale when demand arrives, without the system crashing on your busiest day.
A product that becomes a revenue stream
A well-built SaaS isn't a cost; it's an asset: you charge recurring subscriptions, gain predictable cash flow and turn an internal process into something the market pays to use every month.
UX users understand on their own
A confusing product means overloaded support, bad reviews and cancellations. We design every screen so people can use it without a manual, which keeps subscriptions, reduces churn and slashes support costs.
The code is yours, no vendor lock-in
You receive the source code and ownership of the product. No being held hostage by an agency for every change, or by a closed platform that takes your system with it if you switch partners.
How it works
Discovery and validation
Before writing code, we map the problem, the users and the real scope, and build a clickable prototype. You approve the product on screen and avoid paying to find out later that it wasn't quite right.
Design and architecture
We design the experience of every screen and define the technical foundation: stack, database and infrastructure built to scale. This is where we decide how the product will grow without falling apart.
Development in sprints
We build in short cycles and deliver a working version early. Every sprint you test, give feedback and watch the product take shape, with no surprises saved for the end.
Launch and evolution
We put the product live and in the app stores, monitor performance and errors, and keep evolving it with features driven by real usage. Launch is the opening of the game, not checkmate.
Frequently asked questions
How much does it cost to develop a SaaS or an app?+
There's no price list, because no two products are alike. Cost depends on scope, number of screens, integrations, the complexity of the business rules and whether it's web, mobile or both. That's why we start with a discovery phase that defines the product and pins down the budget clearly. And we work MVP first: you launch a lean, working version with controlled investment, instead of betting the whole budget before you know whether the market responds.
How long until the product is ready?+
The clickable prototype is ready in a few weeks, and a working MVP usually goes live in 2 to 4 months, depending on scope. More robust products, with many integrations and apps in both stores, take longer. Because we deliver in sprints, you don't wait months in the dark: you test usable versions early and watch the product evolve every cycle.
Do you work with companies outside Brazil?+
Yes. Software development works very well remotely: a video call every sprint, direct WhatsApp access to the project team and a staging environment so you can test from wherever you are. Our headquarters is in Marília, Brazil, and anyone who wants to meet the team in person is welcome.
Has KING ever built a SaaS?+
Yes. DashKING, a subscription-based CRM with WhatsApp and artificial intelligence, with apps for iOS and Android, was born inside KING and is now a company of its own. We also built GEO Analysis, a free AI-powered tool that runs on our website and queries ChatGPT and Gemini.
What's the difference between a native app, a web app and a PWA, and which one do I need?+
A native app (on the App Store and Google Play) delivers the best performance and can use phone features like notifications and the camera. A web app runs in the browser with no installation and is faster to launch and update. A PWA sits in between: a web app that installs like an app. During discovery we recommend the right path for your case, because many people pay for a native app when a web app would do the job better and for less.
Can you add artificial intelligence to the product?+
Yes, and more and more it's what sets a product apart: assistants that suggest and summarize, automatic recommendations, data analysis and customer support. We define with you what the AI does on its own and what goes through a person's approval, and we estimate API costs based on usage volume before building.
Do I own the code and the system?+
You do. You receive the source code in the repository, the documentation and ownership of the product, and the App Store, Google Play and cloud accounts are in your company's name. If you ever want to move development to another team or bring it in-house, the system is yours. Our job is to deliver an asset, not a hostage.
What costs are there once the product is live?+
Beyond maintenance, if you choose it, there are third-party costs: Apple's developer account (US$99 per year), the Google Play account (US$25, one time), the cloud and database (proportional to usage), AI APIs (pay per use) and the payment gateway fee on each transaction. All of them are estimated in the proposal, before you decide.
Do I need to come with the whole idea fully specified?+
No. All you need is the problem you want to solve or the opportunity you've spotted. The discovery phase exists precisely to turn that idea into scope, screens and priorities. And if you already have a written brief, even better: we read it in full, clear up questions in a conversation and send back a proposal that separates the MVP, future versions and third-party costs.
Do you disappear after launch?+
No. Software isn't a construction job that ends: it evolves with use. We stay with you in maintenance and improvement cycles, with fixes, new features and adjustments driven by user behavior. And because KING also does marketing, we can handle the launch and the acquisition of your first customers. If you'd rather run it yourself, we hand over everything documented for your team to take over.
